12-12-12 Starter Fertilizer is a balanced, all-purpose granular fertilizer designed for seeding, sodding, and general lawn feeding. It delivers equal parts nitrogen, phosphorus, and potassium to support root development, color, and overall turf health.

Starter Fertilizer uses ammonium sulfate as its nitrogen source, which provides a clean, steely blue-green color while working efficiently with the rest of the nutrient package. The balanced 12% phosphorus content encourages strong root development in both new and established lawns, making it ideal for seed, sod, plugs, and spring recovery.

Potassium is supplied as sulfate of potash, a premium, low-salt potassium source that supports stress tolerance and nutrient movement within the plant. Added iron and micronutrients, including boron, copper, manganese, molybdenum, and zinc help round out the blend for complete turf nutrition.

Every bag also includes Bio-Nite™, a biosolid organic material that feeds beneficial soil microbes and helps improve soil activity with each application.

Application Information

Starter Fertilizer can be applied at seeding or sodding, or as a general-purpose fertilizer for lawns that need balanced nutrition.

• Apply at 3 lbs per 1,000 sq ft
• Water in within 48 hours with at least 1/4" of irrigation or rainfall
• Reapply every 30–45 days during the growing season
• Sweep excess off sidewalks and driveways to prevent staining
